Week 4: Exploring the Marketing Mix

While the digital world contemplated whether Threads would take over Twitter, or was it a 'one-hit-wonder' like Clubhouse, me and my Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp buddies were getting to grips with the Marketing Mix, SEO, talking CPD and finishing off our promo video for The Christians 2023 tour dates for TikTok.


Things are starting to fall into place and I feel like I know a little about what I am doing...??! I am especially enjoying applying what I am learning to real examples - like the case study for the pet car seat that we are developing a marketing strategy for.


I have been looking at CPD opportunities and have found some good options for learning more about SEO, SEM and content marketing. Here are three that I've added to my list...

  1. Advanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Program by Simplilearn - this FREE course provides beginners to SEO 36 hours of self-paced lessons to transform you into an SEO expert!

  2. Fundamentals of Marketing Analytics by Semrush Academy - being a HUGE fan of data, this course caught my eye as it promises to teach you the fundamentals of Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager and Search Console, while bringing in the power of Semrush to really optimise your SEO strategy!

  3. Hubspot's Inbound Marketing Course: Attract Customers Through Valuable Content and Tailored Experiences - type inbound marketing into Google and you will likely get Hubspot in the coveted top ranking spot. What they don't know about inbound marketing, ain't worth knowing!
